Photography

At Columbia Machine, I would regularly take photographs with my Canon M50, as well as the company's Sony A7, and edit them in Photoshop and Lightroom.

My favorite picture that I took at Columbia. This is one of their flagship products, the CPM1600.

Other work

I was able to bring some vibrant new styles in video to Columbia Machine, including creating new customer plant tours, app tutorials, hiring videos, and more.

Trade shows
At Columbia Machine, I led the design and execution of our trade show booths, creating impactful, engaging spaces that effectively represented our brand. From conceptualization to the final setup, I ensured that each booth not only captured attention but also facilitated meaningful interactions with industry professionals. My role included collaborating with cross-functional teams to align our booth design with marketing objectives, managing logistics, and overseeing on-site operations to ensure smooth execution. By blending creativity with strategic planning, I contributed to enhancing our presence at industry-leading trade shows, driving engagement, and generating quality leads.
Over my two years with Columbia Machine, I successfully designed multiple booths tailored to various trade show environments, each one unique yet cohesive with our brand identity. I integrated multimedia elements, including custom videos I produced, to bring our product offerings to life and further captivate the audience. These digital elements, combined with interactive displays and thoughtful layouts, enhanced visitor engagement and helped communicate our complex solutions in a clear, visually compelling way.
Mobile App
I played a key role in the design and development of Columbia Machine’s mobile app, ensuring the app’s functionality and user experience aligned with the needs of our sales team. The app, a data storage service, allows salespeople to easily access and showcase our extensive product range to clients directly from their phones or iPads. From initial concept through to launch, I was instrumental in shaping the app’s interface, ensuring it was both intuitive and efficient for on-the-go presentations.
Throughout my time at Columbia Machine, I continued to support the app’s adoption by onboarding salespeople, creating and uploading new content, and maintaining the app’s functionality. My ongoing involvement ensured that the app remained an up-to-date, valuable tool for the sales team, managing users via Firebase and content via Flamelink, enhancing their ability to engage clients and provide real-time product demonstrations.
In addition, we launched the app with an "Apple-style" presentation, which included a stage reveal and three videos which were sent out to everyone in the company that would be using the app.
